...7/24/03: 3 soldiers who were in the military division that attacked the home of Saddam's sons, died at the hands of Iraqis who are still loyal to their former leader...the weapon used was a rocket propelled grenade launcher...graphic pictures showed the bodies of the two men who were killed by US soldiers...dental records substantiated the identities of these victims...the bodies were "patched up", displayed with reconstructed & shaved faces...viewing these bodies should "help save lives"..."we" know that their deaths were not suicide...they were shot 20 times apiece...and further DNA tests will be done in DC...while we are on the subject of war...who determined the war was "over"...using what criteria?...was there a vote or discussion?...if so, by whom?...if not, who decidied not, and why?...was Britain, the UN or the Coalition countries &/or forces privy to this decision before it was made public by President Bush?...why or why not?...I know, I know, there will never be answers to these questions...why or why not?...

...7/25/03: thanks to an informant...Saddam's personal security detachment was located & arrested in Tikrit...since there was no sign of Saddam, could that mean he is dead...they had had to be always at his side...but soldiers missed capturing the head security officer, and possibly Saddam himself, by 24 hours...

...7/28/03: Patti Labelle on Emeril...BAM!...an 18-wheeler made too sharp a turn and smashed the traffic light @2nd & Copper...part of it fell on the street & was crushed...all of the remaining traffic signals at that intersection stopped working...Lead & Coal are now 2-way streets...the federal deficit is crowding out available money for mortgages...recall of Land o' Lakes Salted Butter Sticks...cloudy but no rain...temps reached 91...between 78 & 80 degrees @noon...received a letter as admission for 2 at any time to the downtown Century Theatres...the expiration date is 9/30/03...

...7/28/03: Saddam is on the run!...where?...is Iraq truly "free"?...how can you tell?...Baghdad has limited water & power...the infrastructure is in shambles...where can people work or shop or bank (in safety)?...2 Bush presidents, 2 post-war economic problems...at least the war of Bush #1 had a definite end!...

...strange as it seems...short people have a harded time getting dates, going up the corporate ladder or becoming president of the US...
