32º in ABQ; 81% humidity at 6ACode Yellow: Moderate Air Quality; NM Night Force will start patrolling to prevent property crimes; NM elementary education scores fall in 2009; homeless girl able to attend UNM, thanks to scholarships; railcars being vandalized in Valencia CNTY; contaminated soil from an old Santa Fe courthouse is being relocated; PM house fire on TN AVE, in the NE Heights; Espanola coach’s home set on fire; proposal to raise the state tax by ½%; SWAT situation in Valencia CNTY, man fired shotgun into neighbor’s home, tear gas was finally thrown into his home, and he surrendered; more people used the Safe Ride Program during the 2009 holiday season than in 2008; and another tube of skin cream leaked in my backpack; in times of disaster; NM residents are generous; Whole Foods accepting monetary donations to help victims of the Haiti quake;trying to clean the air in our office; no PICU Admits; AM R/R friend got a puppy as a holiday gift, plus he has a collection of comics; the way to make my MGR happy is…?; created link between Internet & ICD code software; Code Purple continues; call to reschedule doctor’s visit to 2/19/10 at 11A; arrived home just before 5P;NW US storms, Seattle showers; S TX rain; wet in San Antonio, Houston & Corpus Christi; rain for MS, AL, Louisiana, FL & GA; showers for ATL, New Orleans & Tallahassee; temps from the 20s to 70s;former presidents trying to organize helping for Haiti; an MTV Telethon for Haiti aid, started by George Clooney?; NASA starting drug tests after cocaine found in the space shuttle hangar; Obama wants to hold an al Qaeda operative trial in DC?; there are no free flights from the US to help Haiti, this is just one of the many online scams; patients still finding it difficult to obtain their own medical records; computer ‘glitch’ has some text messages being sent from the future: more specifically: 2016; Microsoft is working on the problem; will a [R] replace Ted Kennedy?; the DOW ended down; sixty million Johnson & Johnson medications recalled for having a foul smell; are people jumping to wrong conclusions about ‘suspicious’ plane passengers?; witness says same-sex couples do not abuse their children; salmonella now found in dog treats!; free Wi-Fi on Acela trains between Boston & DC…for now; today is NATL Hat Day; above all, beware Haiti aid scams, they are numerous!;INTL airport security is on the rise this weekend; 50K dead, mass burials; impassable roads; US Navy is in command of the search & rescue mission; cruise ships are bringing supplies; Haitian GOVT officials may have died in the quake; people who were trapped in the rubble are being found, and they are in good shape, just hungry & in need of water; when pictures say more than words in newspapers, in big cities & small towns, around the world; still limited airport access; gang violence & looting on the rise; Cuba allowing America to fly through its airspace to Haiti; 5.6 quake shook Venezuela, but no damages or casualties, as of this PM: the tremor was seven miles deep; gold is $1,129.60 an ounce; oil is $78.34 per barrel; the Doomsday Clock has been pushed back by one minute; 140K people are presumed dead in Haiti, 300K are homeless; civil unrest across that country; the World Wide Web keeps proving it is not invulnerable; 100K large bottles of water, and tons of food are wrapped in political red tape, waiting for procedures to be put in place for distribution; US & UN forces providing security; people from around the world have arrived in Haiti to search for the missing; many people have burns, wounds & fractures;
