...11/14/01: Brad has his first visit at the HIV clinic in Albuquerque; Mike, the Monday following...the steps are: talk to a social worker, then a nurse, then the doctor (Dr. Thornton [F] for Brad, Dr. Williams [M] for Mike)...people with this disease can get food, or money to pay rent, insurance and medical expenses, plus allow free message or accupuncture treatment...even a pet will be provided money to maintain the necessary care, food & attention he/she deserves...a shuttle is provided for the trek to UNM to draw blood...the clinic is at the corner of Truman & Marble NE, just north of Lomas; UNM is spread around University, Yale, Central & Lomas...received flu & pneumo-vax (Mike) shots...return visits on 12/10/01 to draw more blood...Mike is still waiting for medical records from Dr. Bruni which were requested by fax the week of Thanksgiving, and not received as of 11/29/01...Mike had a return visit on 12/21/01 to find out if he has contracted Hepatitis C...
