...5/31/03: Brad made a delicious panzanella...Italian bread cubes in bacon & tomatoes with spices...an enjoyable salad for summer weather...and we were treated to rain & thunder in the late PM...more to follow?...heavy rain fell in Santa Fe & DeBaca counties...it is harder to ignite a fire at the top of a mountain due to the tall trees with thick foliage...the Mescalero Indians have had to close camp sights due to the high fire danger...people may only drive through that part of the state...no picnics...there is a natural wetland preserve S of Santa Fe...Brad made green iced tea, enjoyable in the summer heat...
