60º in ABQ; 67% humidity at 6A…there is limited ‘private sector business’ in NM; major meth bust in Farmington; students launched a huge rocket 8K feet into space; a CA woman shot & killed herself on I-10 in NM, while she was driving, and her daughter [who was not injured] was in the vehicle; another TV series will be filmed in NM; we enjoyed an AM walk into Olde Towne; Brad prepared Moroccan Chicken, and Tomato Aspic; Dennis Hopper has died from cancer at the age of 74: he loved N NM while filming ‘Easy Rider’, and became a resident of this state; the upstairs A/C is not working; we enjoyed watching ‘Sherlock Holmes’; Brad also made Deviled Eggs; UV Nightclub has closed;

Obama toured a Louisiana beach yesterday; Tea Party candidate says children born in the US to illegal immigrants should not be allowed to become American citizens by birth; websites illegally allowing people to read comic books online for free; while Americans may be traveling during the summer, they will be spending less on vacations; the Celtics move into the final playoffs; immigration protest rally held in Phoenix; abusive, vulgar, offensive statements by debt collectors; ‘top kill’ method has failed: black oil is seeping from the leak on Day 40; authorities say, ‘the coast is clear’, but tourists are avoiding both the Gulf waters…and its beaches;

64º in ABQ; 52% humidity at 6A…Duke City man slashed his girlfriend with a knife; local payday loan office charged nearly 650% interest; there has been an increase of domestic violence across NM; water pipe burst at a Duke City APT complex near 14th & Lomas, resulting in mold to form on walls; truck slammed into a power in NW ABQ, resulting in a power outage for about 500 nearby residents; our gray chair has a new home; the Dona Ana CNTY Detention CTR is full; gas is $2.55 per gallon; bad economy means more NM residents are enlisting in the military; 6% humidity at 5P;
