…8/20-09: as the quest continues

67º in ABQ; 19% humidity at 6A…the NW Duke City Education Corridor opens on the first day of school; Code Yellow: Moderate Air Quality, for Ozone; former NM SECY of State is accused of misusing $3 million in public money; so far, more in NM are uninsured than in all of 2008; volunteer reserve officer is acting like a detective, overstepping his duties; Brad’s check arrived yesterday, that was also a minor stress factor to me…see, I’m a Cancer, I was put on this world to worry; it has been a rough year being the only person bringing in a paycheck; Eclipse Aviation will resume business on 9/1/09, solely in the Duke City, but unsure how many former employees will be hired; 500K people in NM are not insured;

is dedication a fading trait in business?; something we leaned; all residents are residents; there are sub-interns & medical students, and there are fellows & attending; and that it’s just a job, where you make mistakes, stumble, correct our errors, and go on doing the best that I can; Dr. Hinkle is a resident; it’s amazing what a little cut & paste can do: MGR wanted the updated billing sheets by tomorrow, so I worked on those assigned to me until the task was done, about three hours; yesterday ended with a hug from Myrna; revised ICD sheets are now due tomorrow, not 9/1/09; I feel betrayed by the doctors in one ward, saying the same thing at the same time; finished Rounds by 7:15A; Code Purple at 6:30A; MGR said I could have completed the ICD project on Tuesday; then the heat rose in the phone conversation when I could not reach Brad, who was taking a shower, so the day ended on the down side;

high waves/surf, beach erosion, dangerous rip currents along the E Coast as Bill move NW at 18 mph, with winds of 125 mph; storms, and more storms…from OK to MO; wet from ATL to Miami; chance of tornadoes in AR, IL, IN; showers for Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati & Detroit; wet in MN & WI, across OH and from NY to TX; 105 mph winds severely damaged IN town; NYC moisture; temps from 60s to 100s;

when will car dealers receive ‘clunker’ money?; art by using discarded phone books; Prop 8 trial will be heard in 2010; who will soon sit in Ted Kennedy’s SEN seat; every time a husband cheated, he bought his wife jewelry…a total of 43 times, with a total value exceeding $400K; CA boy set friend on fire twice; robbers left man in abandoned U-Haul truck; the 103 lb. catfish; two men stole $1 million in jewelry from JC Penney; mortgage delinquencies are still rising; theCandy Landgame turned 60!, and Lombard ST in San Fran went colorful; if the health bill fails, so will the [D];credit card companies have to wait 45 days before raising interest rates; 750K cars sold through the ‘clunker’ problems, but where’s the cash that is promised to dealerships?;
