69º in ABQ; 22% humidity at 6A…former Duke City mayor Louis Saavedra has died from cancer at the age of 76: he helped create TVI, which later became Central NM Community College; Farmington APT complex will no longer be part of the HUD program, meaning some tenants will be forced to move; $1.67 million has been earmarked for NM to help battle the H1N1 virus; PNM wants to broaden its solar energy ability; Los Alamos CNTY Fair this weekend, and the ABQ Film Festival being held; diapers & prom outfits are also tax free this weekend; nine people attempted to swindle $1 million from fourteen NM banks by taking out loans & credit cards, then claimed they were victims of ID theft…then applied for new loans, and formed a credit counseling service in the Uptown area of ABQ to fix their own credit reports; Brad prepared Eggs for breakfast, and a very tasty Shrimp Pot Pie for lunch; I had a ‘Sustiva dream’ last night; 5% humidity at 5P; Brad rewired the upstairs to find a better location for our phone; not ‘criticism’, just ‘analysis & observation’; Smokey the Bear is 65 years old; three children, from 1 – 7 years old, were rescued when a Gallup home caught fire;politicians threatened at meetings, and at home, by angry voters who oppose the health care reform, or don’t get answers to their concerns or questions…trust me, Congress has a ‘super Cadillac’ health INS policy; the $19 hotel room in San Diego…minus a bed, and toilet paper; Sotomayor will be sworn in today, pledges ‘fidelity to the letter of the law’, she is the Junior Justice; two more banks close in FL, and one shuts its doors in OR; pitchman Billy Mays’ body tested positive for cocaine; nine people are dead after a small plane & copter crash near NYC, over the Hudson River, there were no survivors, no mandatory monitoring equipment is required; Hurricane Felicia shutting down HI beaches; I have to include this, since I have seen it several times during the past few days…Oprah is being sued for $1 trillion for stealing from an author; weird: TX man used his five month old niece as a shield, threatening to break its neck if arrested: in the end police used a Taser on him;glaciers are melting faster than predicted; famous Abbey Road photo is forty years old; the three US hikers have been relocated to Tehran;
